ROBERT "SKIP" and CAROLINE

Skip and Caroline look forward to sharing their wonderful yacht with you and to showing you the many pleasures of life under sail.

A genial, flexible, and resourceful captain, Skip expresses his love of live , and of the sea, in everything he does. Skip holds a 100-ton U.S. Coast Guard license, is CPR certified, and is master of both traditional and contemporary techniques of navigation, seamanship, racing, and sailing instruction. He is versed in all aspects of life on the ocean and below its surface. Skip studied at Carleton College, Mystic Seaport, and the universities of Chicago and California, and holds a doctorate in Latin American history from Berkeley.

Caroline was born and educated in England. After completing her schooling, she made a successful career as an international photographic model before becoming a freelance buyer of Asian arts and crafts. In addition she has worked in real estate, interior design and landscaping, and as a building contractor. Dedicated to taking care of people, Caroline is a health-concious cook whose most outstanding quality is the inventiveness she brings to her table. Intrigued by indiginous ingredients, she loves to seek out the freshest local products to enhance her dishes. Her expertise in and love of cooking were developed and inspired by years of living in France as well as her solo travelling in India and the Far East.
